Using PrivaFile
PrivaFile provides free file conversion tools that run in your web browser. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You may use the tools for personal or commercial purposes. You must not use the site in a way that breaks the law, interferes with its operation, or tries to gain unauthorized access to it.
Your files and content
Conversions run on your own device, so we never receive, store, or review your files. You keep all rights to your files and to the converted copies.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to convert, copy, and use any file you process, including files that contain other people's work or personal information.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Results depend on your browser, device, and the source file. We do not guarantee that every file will convert, that output will meet a specific quality, or that the site will always be available.
Always keep your original file until you have opened and checked the converted copy.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrivaFile is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, files, or profits, arising from your use of the site or its tools.
Advertising and third-party links
PrivaFile is supported by advertising and may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or privacy practices. How advertising cookies are used is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Open-source software
Some tools use open-source libraries, including PDF.js by Mozilla, which remain the property of their authors and are used under their respective licenses.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
